The DCME Interception system is designed to provide our customers with COTS based Generic DCME processing application, which can process multiple compression schemes using a single modular device. Earlier our customers had to use the DCME devices to decompress the Inputs and operator had to use a manual switch / matrix to route the acquired E1’s into all the DCME systems for the classification of compression scheme adopted by the target network. In this scenario the output of the DCME system used to be recorded on multiple E1 recorders depending on the decompression. In case of DTX -600, where the output can range from 16 – 20 E1’s investing in so many E1 recorders is not a wise idea.

Also As mentioned above, in a classic scenario the operator used to procure all types of DCME systems, which would have made him invest a huge sum as the DCME systems.

The Universal Satellite Demodulator And DCME Analysis System (USDDAS) has been developed to monitor and analyse the traffic between two DCME terminals operating in point to point mode. It is a cost effective tool for analysing and decoding telecommunications signals that conform to the ITU-T G.763 and G.766 specification.
