The New “Shoghi Link” is an exciting new development for Shoghi Communication and offers operation on the limited bandwidth networks. “Shoghi Link is ideal for DAMA and VPN operation and combines flexible encryption with efficient networks at transmission speeds from 2.4-64 kbps. Shoghi is provided immediately on establishment of a connection, with visible confirmation of the Shoghi status.
“Shoghi Link” operates ‘in –line’ between Shoghi’s Voice interface Unit and the network DCU to provide complete end-to-end Shoghi Voice communications for DAMA VSAT Networks.
In case of Data Communication it can be placed between the data flow over the channel. Two RS232C/DB9 connectors provide the physical interface. Shoghi Link” features extended key load, and built in self-test software. Configuration uses a standard PC and each unit can be loaded with up to 13 Keys.
Each Key can be automatically expanded for 100 additional update keys and the unit can be at scheduled intervals ensuring that the regular key changes can be performed smoothly with no operator involvement. The encryption engine is provided by a system algorithm (key length 128 bits), Which can be easily replaced by the customer’s own algorithm.
“Shoghi Link” can be tailored to the most stringent government requirements. Traffic encryption uses one-time session.
