Technology Introduction
Satellites are now an essential part of today's technology. The world has now come to rely on them in many ways. One of the major roles is for communications.
Communications satellites may be used for many applications including relaying telephone calls, providing communications to remote areas of the Earth, providing communications to ships, aircraft and other mobile vehicles, and there are many more ways in which satellites can be used. The most common frequency bands used by the satellites for communication are L/S, C, Ku and Ka bands.
The rapid growth in the filed of Satellite Communications and its users, created need for surveillance of these Satellites. Shoghi Communication Ltd. came up with the solution for Satellites carrier monitor and analysis of Satellite Communication.
System Features :
The system provides receiving and processing of GEO Satellites Communications Signals, selection and registration of telephone, FAX, Telegraph and Data communications.
Monitoring in C , X and Ku Bands.
Pointing antennas on a satellite, determination of signal
frequencies and polarizations.
Signal Parameters analysis and estimation( signal to noise
ratio, signal bandwidth , modulation classification etc.)
Real time receiving and PSK-FDMA . FM-FDMA, PSK-TDMA , PSK-CDMA etc. signal Demodulation.
Communications links activity checking, selection and
registration of the messages according to the defined features.
Block combination of the selected messages for transmissions.
The system is supplied and designed using the VME-bus modular principal, which includes;
Easy modules installation (Downconverters, Demodulators,
Demultiplexer, signal processors etc) in standard 19" VME-BUS chassis.
Further hardware and functional growth and quick
reconfiguration ability to fit a particular tasks, standards, and
unique signal receiving conditions( Signal to noise ratio, jitter,
non standardized structure etc.)
Integrated management and control of signal receiving and
processing systems. The system can be designed for static use
or for transportable platform usage.
